About This Job

Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for an Asset Management Specialist. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Administer property control program activities to ensure accountability of property

  • Prepare and maintain property accountability records

  • Conduct property inventories and provide guidance on policy and/or regulations pertaining to property accountability

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education and Experience Requirements for this Position

  • High School Diploma and 4 years of related experience, or no experience required with a BA/BS degree in a technical field

  • Strong background in warehouse procedures, asset tagging and tracking as well as proper disposal procedures

  • Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization: in-person, email and on the phone

  • Experience with asset tracking tools, processes, procedures and policies with a high attention to detail

  • Skills in Power Point, Excel, and Word are a plus

  • Teamwork with co-workers and all other departments is a must

US Citizenship Required

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience implementing asset tracking best practices within DoD or Federal government environments.

  • Experience interacting with Government Stakeholders.

  • Require little to no supervision proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without being directed

  • Train, mentor, and support junior team members

  • Active Top Secret security clearance preferred, but not required

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $43920 - $74700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
