Team Background:

American Express entered the travel agency business in 1915 and is now one of the world’s largest luxury service networks, serving Card Members across 23 markets. The TLS space provides exclusive access to select programs and benefits, outstanding service, and unparalleled expertise to Card Members seeking leisure or business travel.

TLS serves a variety of Card Member segments around the world, using different channels, including our customer contact centers, market specific travel websites, and evolving digital solutions. Access to the wealth of benefits and services provided by TLS provides a competitively differentiated Card benefit as part of our overall value proposition.

The Global Customer Experience Team is a group within TLS that imagines, enables, and evolves the end-to-end TLS customer experience. Our mission is to drive technology product management as well as the overall business strategy – with innovation at the heart of almost everything we do.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Develop and refine global TLS strategy and key strategic priorities over the next 3-5 years, in conjunction with overall AXP business goals

  • Collaborate with key partners to align on the strategic vision and priorities to ensure a seamless, differentiated Card Member experience

  • Develop strategic storytelling presentations for AXP executives to showcase our long-term vision, highlight new TLS initiatives and gain buy-in and support from senior leaders

  • Manage regular forums with senior leaders across TLS to provide updates on strategic projects and key initiatives

  • Build, own, and iterate on central intelligence hub for industry trends, innovation and competitive intelligence for global travel, lifestyle and digital customer experience

  • Manage efforts to communicate and socialize TLS strategic vision across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required

  • MBA (or equivalent) strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, planning, or travel is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic and inspiring leader with a passion for developing and implementing projects in a global, cross-functional environment

  • Strong collaborator with ability to influence leadership and present relevant solutions for sophisticated business challenges

  • Effective communicator who can successfully build convincing business narratives through quantitative analysis

  • Problem solver who challenges the current environment, navigates ambiguity, and provides implementable answers to unstructured problems

  • Experienced project manager who has successfully carried out complex initiatives E2E

  • You are a people person! You can develop strong working relationships with executive leaders and business partners to define, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
