Lockheed Martin Procurement Representative - Early Career in Orlando, Florida

Description: The Candidate selected will have the opportunity to work on the fast-paced F35 Sensors Program, supporting both the Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) and Distributed Aperture System (DAS) Windows, both of which are vital to equip the world’s most advanced fighter jet: the F-35 Lightning II. The EOTS is an affordable, high-performance, lightweight, multifunction system that provides precision air-to-air and air-to-surface targeting capability. EOTS enhances F-35 pilots’ situational awareness and allows aircrews to identify areas of interest, perform reconnaissance and precisely deliver laser and GPS guided weapons. Through the DAS, high-resolution, real-time images are streamed from six infrared cameras mounted around the aircraft, straight to the pilot’s visor, taking the F-35 helmet’s virtual reality to the next level. With the F-35 Lightning II, pilots have the ability to fly virtually undetected, communicate across a secure network, lock on with laser precision, transform vast amounts of data into actionable information, and utilize real-time virtual reality.

Candidate will be the Program Procurement Liaison for the F-35 Sensors Program interfacing primarily with our Central Purchasing team. Candidate will also be responsible for all material/hardware activities including general purchasing, daily supplier and internal customer interface, subcontract management, supporting the production floor activity, and material management. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time deliveries that meet program performance, schedule, technical, and cost requirements for a range of standard commodities to higher risk, complex subassemblies. Adheres to policies, procedures, programs, systems and assures timely and economical procurement of all material, parts, assemblies, equipment and services as well as the timely planning, control and distribution of all materials, property and customer assets

required to manufacture. Supports and leads cost reduction initiatives, change activity, program meetings, and other activity in compliance with government regulations and contractual commitments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related discipline from an accredited college.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel)

• Customer focus experience

• Work independently and in a team environment (teamwork oriented)

• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to handle demanding, time-sensitive workloads/tasks with complete follow-through

• Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities

• Able to multi-task several critical assignments at both time and ability to work both independently and

within a team structure

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
