Provide application and operational sustainment support for Navy Accounting System (SABRS) and SABRS Management Retrieval Tools System (SMARTS). Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and test new reports based on user requests and planned enhancements related to the SABRS Migration.
Troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions in coordination with various SABRS stakeholders.
Develop queries and data anomaly programs, evaluate effectiveness of system internal controls, produce financial accounting reports, recommend accounting policy, procedural, and process changes. Develop web-based financial management reports to evaluate operational results, budget, execution, and audit support.
Support government personnel in administering accounting system access controls and Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO) responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant business or technical field
Minimum of 2 years of experience using the Marine Corps Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS) and SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval System (SMARTS) for financial reporting.
Minimum of 3 years of technical or financial management experience with one or more of the following:
Application requirements, design, and test
Business Performance Reporting and Monitoring
Report Design and Development (Web-based, Cognos)
System Internal Controls
Financial data analysis
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills working in a technical environment
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-process teams
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
