Lockheed Martin NDT Technician - Camden, AR in Camden, Arkansas

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking to hire an NDT Technician to support quality operations in Camden, AR.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

-Using technical expertise in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) with industry certifications in one or more industry recognized methods, e.g. liquid penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, radiography testing, and visual testing.

-Providing technical support to manufacturing, engineering, programs, field personnel, and suppliers.

-Designing, developing, and implementing NDT methods.

-Performing calibration and alignment checks; adjustments, modifications, and replacements.

-Performing evaluations including failure analysis, methods analysis, and inspection.

-Preparing, revising, and reviewing NDT material/process specifications and NDT technique sheets including evaluation of supplier techniques/procedures.

-Designing and evaluating inspection reference standards. Audits NDT inspection facilities.

-Providing recommendations on specifications, capabilities, limitations, and benefits of NDT methods.

-Validating non-destructive callouts on engineering drawings.

-Obtaining prior certification (or the ability to certify) to NAS 410, ASNT or equivalent in at least one of the industry recognized NDT methods.

Basic Qualifications:

-High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training.

-Level II certification in one method or more of NAS 410 - Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant or Ultra sonic testing

Have advanced knowledge of AS9100D Quality systems and pertinent Quality practices.

-Demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills.

-Good communications and presentation skills.

-Ability to work with and around explosives.

-Ability to acquire a Secret clearance.

-Well versed in GD&T, interpreting drawings and standards.

-Experience in using various inspection measurement tools.

-Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite

Desired Skills:

-Level II or III certification in NAS 410 Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant and Ultra sonic testing.

-Experience in Radiography.

-Knowledge of tensile and chemical testing.

-Hands on NDT/NDI and floor support experience.

-Working knowledge of SAP.

-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
