Description: Lockheed Martin’s Santa Barbara Focal Plane Infrared Sensors Business is seeking a seasoned Security Manager and Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team on-site. We have a 200+ person manufacturing and engineering division, where this role will be responsible for all security efforts of the facility based in Santa Barbara, CA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Candidate will be a member of senior staff and will attend site director’s staff meetings, working closely with members of the site’s leadership team.

• Provide oversight / management site security employees and contract guard force.

• Manage all functions of the defense industrial security program and special access programs, i.e. physical security, classified cyber security (network, standalone and test equipment), visitor control, security clearance processing, document control, classification management, contract security specification administration, COMSEC operations, security education and awareness, investigations, asset protection, access control, etc.

• Ensure compliance with company and government security regulations. Formulate security policy and procedures. Address and solve security problems with all levels of employees and customer representatives. Prepare budget input and manage procurement of services and equipment. Lead the Crisis Management Team, conduct investigations and advise senior management team.

• Ensure security leadership is kept apprised of critical issues/concerns regarding the Santa Barbara facility.

• Participate in / lead enterprise self-inspections and other assessments such as the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Security Reviews, the BSI Audit, and MFC internal audits and inspections.

• Handle additional tasks as assigned by Leadership.

The Locale: Goleta is a city in southern Santa Barbara County, California. Goleta is part of the central coast region of California and offers lots of great scenery and is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is known primarily for agriculture and tourism. Major crops include wine grapes, lettuce, strawberries, and artichokes. Goleta is near the University of California, Santa Barbara campus. Much of Goleta is considered to be a quiet suburban community while Santa Barbara tends to attract most of the tourists and the area's residents. Goleta is about 8 miles west of the city of Santa Barbara, along the coast (the coast runs east to west in this portion of southern California). Where can you drive to from Goleta? Goleta is 2 hours northwest of Los Angeles. San Francisco is about 5 hours to the north of Goleta. Las Vegas, NV is about 5 hours to the northeast.

Basic Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of the NISPOM.

• Previous FSO/Security management experience.

• The ability to effectively lead personnel and teams is required.

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office products.

• Ability to multi-task. Great interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communications skills.

• Must have and Active Top Secret security clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Skills:

• A collaborative, innovative, and customer focused leadership style is desired.

• Experience with DoD Manuals for SAPs – including application.

• Experience with classified test equipment and systems.

• Experience in/with the following: SCI, Investigations, Guard Force Management, Crisis Management, Case Management, CCTV and access control systems.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $96,700 - $185,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $111,200 - $209,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
