Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (Strategic Customer Group, SCG) is recruiting for an Associate Director, Multiple Myeloma Access Marketing Oncology role based in Horsham, PA. Candidate is required to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week under the J&J Flex plan. This role will be part of the SCG Value, Access, and Pricing Oncology organization.

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.

The Associate Director, Market Access Marketing, will support the VAP Group Director in continuing the Access, Pricing and Value strategies CARVYKTI, a cell therapy for the treatment of multiple myeloma patients now approved in early lines of therapy (2L ). Potential candidates will have key areas of responsibility in:

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the CARVYKTI VAP Market Access Director in coordinating SCG activities supporting optimal access and reimbursement for CARVYKTI, including the successful execution of the CART-4 post-launch plan for the FDA approval of the 2L use of CARVYKTI.

  • Lead the MARR (Market Access Readiness Review) process to refine the long-term Market Access Strategy, inclusive of strategy and tactics aligned to the Brand strategy and business plan.

  • Collaborate with the brand payer marketers on the in-line team to develop a brand value proposition and associated resources to use with our SAM (Strategic Account Management) & IBG (Institutional Business Group) customer-facing teams Leads the execution, pull-through, and insight generation of these initiatives.

  • Lead exchange forums to collect, handle and share customer/market insights that allow for the appropriate “voice of customer” to be appropriately reflected in our overall strategy, tactics, and communications.

  • Build and execute thoughtful training plan for our SAM payer and institutional account teams, ensuring improved proficiencies and launch readiness.

  • Develop and align organization on brand access goals in conjunction with our multiple myeloma portfolio team.

  • Lead and serve as responsible point for core elements of the launch plan, including but not limited to value proposition, account resources and training plan.

  • Drive SCG partner requirements across the Integrated Evidence Team (IET) to ensure data generation plan that enhances the brand value proposition and supports future indications.

  • Use the Market Access Excellence framework to drive organizational alignment around strategic choices to optimize access strategy.

  • Build credibility and establish strong and highly functional partnerships with brand partners, account teams, strategic customer group functional leads and alliance partners.

  • Lead National Meeting / Fast Start meetings / New Hire Training for Strategic Account Management team.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills:

Required

  • BA/BS required and an MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years business with minimum 2 years marketing experience and proven performance is required.

  • Candidate must demonstrate strategy, marketing, innovation, collaboration and analytical skills as well as strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and ability to identify market trends that impact business goals.

  • Must be able to lead and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Must possess the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.

  • Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel across levels and functions is required.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required, including ability to defend logical business arguments, influence without authority and facilitate consensus-building is required.

  • Strong project management skills required.

Preferred:

  • U.S. Market Access related experience preferred.

  • Prior oncology therapeutic area experience preferred.

Other:

  • This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% travel (domestic). Team typically works Tues, Wed, Thurs on-site. Flexibility to travel within Janssen campuses as needed is necessary.

  • Candidate is required to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week under the J&J Flex plan. Some flexibility to work at other, more convenient, J&J sites may be provided but 1 day per week is required to be worked on-site in Horsham.
