BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
Support a multi-brand organization by reviewing, processing, and supporting the parts and accessories, and warranty program. Maintain business partnerships by working with dealers and suppliers in order to satisfy after-market accessories and warranty parts order needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
Parts Order Management
Process parts orders within designated scope
Process parts orders escalated from tier 1 staff as needed
Support audit of tier 1 parts orders
Create parts kits as needed
Create Purchase Order requests to vendors
Follow-up on vendor purchase orders
Research part pricing and acquisition
Parts Research & Relationship Management
Receive and support dealer inquiries for part numbers and parts needs
Support dealer parts and warranty inquiries
Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) as needed
Work with brand supply chains as needed in order to fulfill orders
Work with brand teams as needed to validate and manage non-current/retired parts
Work with brand teams as needed to align on parts quality
Lead & Develop
Provide position and dealer training support as needed
Support the Warranty Administration Certification training and inquiries as needed
Secondary:
Warranty claims processing and inquiries as needed
Training as required to maintain and improve product knowledge and skillset
Other tasks, initiatives, and projects and assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Capabilities:
Effective verbal communication skills needed
Excellent follow-up skills
Highly skilled in interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with others over the phone and email
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Boating experience and knowledge of fiberglass and aluminum boats required
Familiarity with OBMS and Compass environment preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce.com environment preferred
Ability to quickly learn and navigate through software and online programs required
Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team environment within a matrix organization
