Working in a high volume customer services center responding to phone inquiries about Group Benefit Plans, i.e. health, life insurance, long term disability, voluntary benefit plans, Retirement and Stockholder Services,
prepare paperwork related to benefit requests and update associates’ information and
assist with a variety of other tasks within the benefits department as needed.

Year End Bonus:
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. The bonus for this position is 8 hours of pay when a new associate joins Publix prior to July 1. There is no bonus in the first year for associates hired after July 1. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to 8 hours’ pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

ability to handle a high volume of calls daily and process work accurately, timely and meet deadlines
professional telephone etiquette and probing skills
ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
ability to work independently and productively
be detail-oriented with good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
two years Publix retail customer service experience in an employee benefits administration department
call center experience
benefits experience
general accounting skills
Bilingual -Spanish a plus
