Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner specializing in manufacturing and operations to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and recruiting skilled and diverse operations and mechanical team members. Your primary focus will be on building talent pipelines, establishing relationships with local community colleges and veterans organizations, and ensuring a robust pool of qualified candidates for the Longview site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations recruiting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for finding top talent, and strong data analysis and change management skills.

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies and techniques to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for operations and mechanical positions. • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to determine candidate suitability for operations roles, ensuring a strong fit with the company culture and values. • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future operations positions. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community colleges, trade schools, and other organizations to establish a steady flow of potential candidates. • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific talent needs and requirements. • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including job description development, interview training, and candidate selection. • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools to manage candidate data and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations recruiting, and continuously seek opportunities to improve recruitment strategies and processes. • Participate in employer branding initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice for operations professionals. • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires. • Initiate and lead projects aimed at enhancing Longview recruitment efforts. • Effectively utilize data to draw insight and make recommendations and decisions. • Influence and drive change management efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). MHR or MBA preferred. • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or Recruiter, with a focus on operations and mechanical positions. • Strong knowledge of operations and mechanical roles, responsibilities, and required skills. • Experience in building and maintaining talent pipelines for specialized positions. • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence candidates and stakeholders. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously. • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to achieve recruitment goals and targets. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Familiarity with local community colleges and organizations in the operations field is a plus.
