Tenneco Financial Analyst in Louisville, Indiana
Integral part of the Jeffersonville Controlling Team.
Provide financial support for the operations of the plant by accurately and timely submit analyses, reports, and assignments. Proactively seeks out areas of improvements in reporting and processes. Thrives in an ambiguous automotive manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Immediate need for Third Party AP support – receiving goods, reconciliation of GR vs IR, vendor contact.
Capital and Tooling Reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting
Support month-end close process by reviewing data, preparing journal entries and developing analyses.
Ensure financial reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco’s policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and reconciliation schedules.
Support the business planning processes (strategic plan, annual operating plan including sales and cost of sales, and periodic forecasts).
Support cost reduction projects; including analysis, tracking and monitoring.
Create and deliver various analyses including but not limited to sales and profitability.
Supply audit documentation and analyses as requested.
Ensure internal audit processes and controls are operating effectively.
Participate/Lead finance process improvement projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance of Accounting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Self-starter who has a hunger to learn.
Ability to conduct research and provide effective recommendations.
SAP Experience, intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to Automotive manufacturing through work or internship experience.
