Position Profile

This is a leadership role for IT strategy program management and is responsible for delivering enterprise wide IT Strategy including change management practices. This role is responsible for program managing and driving IT strategy with complete autonomy and accountability for results and will report to National Director Information Technology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business teams for line of business roadmap
  • Partner with Architecture teams to understand constrained and unconstrained enterprise technology roadmaps, and objectives
  • Consult across the organization and work with finance to develop strategic plans that are most appropriately targeted to provide the greatest impact to the organization
  • Partner with IT vendors for creating framework consisting of tools, people and process needed for driving IT strategy
  • Ensuring high-quality analysis and presentation materials for senior management, stakeholders, and domain specialists
  • Developing strategic insights that will drive sustained growth in our business
  • Ensure IT strategy is tightly aligned with the business strategy, help ensure technology strategy is clearly defined and communicated
  • Work across the technology organization to develop presentations that clearly articulate the progress and accomplishments against the strategic plans, highlighting the value that has been delivered as a result of executing the largest, most impactful strategies
  • Evangelize the strategy, gain support, drive implementation and ensure value is being derived
  • Work closely with Architecture to ensure that strategy is supported by the right architectures, tools and standards
  • Monitor progress against strategic goals and take corrective actions if needed
  • Act as an ambassador for our overall IT strategy
  • Direct all activities of a department that defines and develops enterprise wide IT Change management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics
  • Incorporate effective change and risk management controls within the IT organization
  • Establish and manage enterprise wide release management practices including major & minor releases
  • Define and revise change control policies within IT, manage SOX and operational controls, coordinate with internal audit to review policies and practices

Qualifications

Typically Required:


Masters Degree in Strategy, Information technology, Finance or related field * Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in a cross functional environment in Information technology or related field * Requires minimum of 5 years of experience and significant depth of knowledge in financial planning and IT strategy functions
