As an Avionics Electronics Engineer, you will work on the Communications Systems on the AMMM Communications, Navigation, and Sensors team within the Comm, Nav, and Sensors group. The selected team member is expected to have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles within avionics communications disciplines as well as knowledge and experience with LM Aero processes for subcontract technical oversight, integration testing, and requirements decomposition. A well-qualified applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking skills. In addition, the individual should be organized and able to track multiple projects at once.

Ability to mentor early career engineers and

briefings to program technical leadership will be necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline

- A technical background in electronics engineering or related field.

- Experience in supplier management

- Experience in performing system integration testing with avionics

- Experience troubleshooting and investigating aircraft avionics troubleshooting

- Experience writing, deriving, and decomposing requirements

- Experience writing technical documents including statements of work, specifications, test procedures, test reports, and certification documentation

Desired Skills:

- Experience on AMMM Platforms - C-130, P-3, and C-5

- Experience with Intercommunication Systems, Radios, Datalinks, and other avionics

- Experience with avionics hardware and software development

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience collaborating across different engineering disciplines

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

- Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
