This position is for a Systems Architect Staff for a Skunk Works® effort in Marietta, GA.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will:

- Utilize model-based tools to develop systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.

- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts in architecture definition.

- Design, develop and oversee system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities.

- Serve as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.

- Ensure conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.

- Support internal and external design reviews.

- Maintain knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies.

- Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

Who You Are

You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. The successful candidate will have experience with model-based architecture tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody. Must be a US Citizen. Must work full-time onsite in Marietta, GA. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant must have a secret security clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

•BS from an accredited college (Systems Engineering, Technology, or Aerospace Related)

•Familiarity with Architecture best practices and principles

•Familiarity with MBSE, modeling in Cameo/SysML or similar tools

Desired Skills:

•knowledge and experience architecting Air Vehicle Segments and Subsystems

•experience identifying stakeholder concerns and represented in the architecture

•experience defining context, boundaries, and external interfaces and allocating concepts, properties, characteristics, behaviors, functions and constraints

•experience identifying systems elements and interfaces

•experience defining any enabling systems or services need for architecture

•experience with traceability of architecture elements to stakeholder and system requirements

•experienced performing logical and physical decomposition

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
