The SAIC IT Managed Services Division, located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, has a CONTINGENT opportunity for an entry level Technical Support Administrator to provide Tier II technical support for the Veterans Administration (VA) Community Care Program.
Qualified candidate will join the VA Community Care team supporting the VA Community Care Viewer. This is a call center environment requiring professional level customer service.
This is a shift work position and the successful candidate must be flexible in days and hours worked.
Basic Qualifications: The applicant must have a High school education or equivalent and 1+ years working on a Help Desk or in a technical support position such as a System Administrator. Server processes and network operations experience is preferred. Applicant must possess strong oral/written communication, organizational, decision-making, excellent customer service, and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Applicant must be customer focused, detail oriented, a problem solver and able to prioritize work. Applicant must be comfortable in a team-oriented call center environment and be internally motivated. Applicant must have or be able to obtain VA ADP Sensitivity Level I Security Clearances.
Preferred Qualifications: The ideal applicant has Knowledge and recent experience with Security Authentication Tokens, Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server, Microsoft Forefront Identity Management, and familiarity with Microsoft SQL is a plus. Network Administration and/or Desktop support experience is also highly desirable. User experience with Remedy ARS is also a plus.
Applicant must have or be able to obtain VA ADP Sensitivity Level I Security Clearances.
