Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr in Moorestown, New Jersey

Join the Moorestown Operations Team! This role will engage cross-functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and Shop Production Controllers among others to support activities in a variety of areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The successful candidate may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

• Monitors progress against Material Resource Planning (MRP) for Shop Manager & Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM) (includes Earned Value Management System (EVMS) / Return to Green (RTG) as reference).

• Train team members to be proficient in Solumina usage; T/S & resolve discrepancies when needed.

• Manage ‘build sheet’ to map work orders to deliverable systems.

• Oversee execution and closure of project tasks (focus on controllable disruptions)

• Utilize production data analytics for WIP and constraint management.

• Gather twice daily WIP status for Management/Production Control to course correct / achieve deadlines.

• Statusing existing production constraints and identify a path to resolution Ensure 4-block status is complete and accurate for monthly factory metric reviews.

• Identify potential execution risks / develop workaround plans.

• Establish effective communications with team members and management to foster collaborative environment.

• Specialized support in SAP / Solumina / Stockroom Ops.

• Expedite dock-to-stock-to-floor when required.

• Manage order start in conjunction with Production Control / Shop Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with SAP, Solumina, or similar Material Resource Systems or MES

- Effective communication skills

- A Proactive, self-starter who works to solve problems without guidance

- Microsoft Office proficiency

Desired Skills:

Preferred Bachelors degree in a related Management or Operations discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Previous experience in Manufacturing or Production operations

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
