Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.
Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement. This position is full-time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday.
Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Our office is located at 6860 W 115TH ST, Overland Park, KS 66211. Primary Responsibilities: Perform all types of complex adjustments and closed, denied, and simple adjustmentsMeet Quality, Productivity and Attendance requirementsEnsure Provider Satisfaction through:Providing assistance to Providers with status updatesBeing responsible for any follow-up work needed for resolving and closing issuesIdentifying and resolving anticipated Provider issues to prevent future calls Maintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflows Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 1+ year of Claims, Office, or Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applicationsAbility to work from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm with mandatory overtime in January and FebruarySoft Skills: Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive Effective communication skillsPhysical Requirements and Work Environment: Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse Office environment OptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
