Manpower Group Senior Financial Analyst in Portland, Oregon
This position is responsible for SBU financial controlling functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting for his/her specific controlling area.
Responsible for accurate and timely accounting results related to specific controlling area (Projects/Service) in compliance with Vestas GAAP and Vestas SOX requirements.
Ensure compliance with Group reporting deadlines for closing process.
Interfaces with operations team to review and monitor accuracy of data impacting financial statements.
Perform duties in compliance with SOX requirements and ensure compliance from team members related to his/her controlling area.
Coordinate roll out of new finance related processes to accounting and operations teams as required.
Support Reporting and Compliance teams as required.
Provide data as required for annual and hard close audits.
Liaise with relevant departments at Group and SBU level as required.
Prepare commentary and analysis for monthly SBU commentary, RFC and budget commentary with input from operations team.
Perform monitoring to ensure that operations line organization is performing tasks in compliance with Group Guidelines and SOX documented processes.
Propose adjustments to financial postings as required to shared services team for processing.
Perform SAP tasks related to month end close related to specific controlling area
May be required to perform some low-risk controlling activities.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. CPA preferred
3-5 years of finance and accounting experience exhibiting solid progression in work experience including management of a team of professionals
Excellent knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and in a matrix structure
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong Systems Skills, Excel, Power-point, SAP, Data Analysis
