Summary

The Channel Service Manager (NSM) will work directly with channel partner service and sales personnel to increase our competitiveness and end customers satisfaction, with a particular focus on large contractors. The position supports Envirosight’s strategy to “franchise” all aspects of service and technical product expertise to the channel partner level. The CSM will work with NJ-based service and operations teams to craft specific plans, tools and processes to improve regional service performance. This includes setting standards for each channel partner’s technician certification, inventory optimization/efficiency, customer responsiveness, and successful resolution of service issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • As Channel Service Manager, you must understand every aspect of the main service center in Randolph, NJ and the services provided by channel partners.

  • You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and measuring performance to facilitate exceptional channel team output and customer service. To champion safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in all of your actions and decisions.

  • Establish, measure and maintain standards across channel partner locations.

  • Determine necessary regional inventory and evaluate partners’ capabilities for optimal service.

  • Help develop and execute team plans given our knowledge of the above capabilities and commitments.

  • Ability to work productively and maintain working relationships with sales representatives, managers and organizational leaders.

  • Drive to change the status quo and work well in high-pressure situations. Exceptional prioritization and time management skills are essential for success.

  • Implement digital infrastructure for managing installed base, tracking service and support cases via a ticketing system, and measuring satisfaction.

  • Be an advocate for your customers and your team. Your success depends on theirs.

Service Department Operations

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on any level with internal personnel and external stakeholders, as well as strong negotiation skills and motivation.

  • Ensure full and proper escalation of critical issues as they develop and manage their mitigation.

  • Monitor key service metrics for ongoing continuous performance improvement.

  • Lead/ensure effective service department support of channel partners and end customers.

Product Knowledge/Management

  • Develop a complete technical understanding of ES product lines

  • Be a leader in the marketplace, known as a knowledgeable resource

  • Assist with key account/high value sales opportunities

  • Ability to give presentations in various size group and settings

Experience/Education

Experience

  • 5 years of technical and at least 3 years of management experience in a service-focused industry (or related), to include service management or field service delivery.

  • Experience leading teams and managing a diverse group of roles and responsibilities.

  • Process / operations experience with strong and proven expertise leading field, technical repair or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with customer-facing responsibilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or an Industrial Field is preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related technical field.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $74,000.00 - $111,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
