Opportunity Details:


CSRA, an emerging leader in the background investigations industry, is seeking full time Regional Manager to support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. BIs are required to determine an individual’s suitability for employment with the federal government, eligibility for access to classified information, assignment to or retention in positions with sensitive duties, or other designated duties requiring such investigations. The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individual’s life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974.

The primary duties of the Regional Manager is to ensure that case requirements are being met and achieved through a cohesive work relationship with Case Reviewers and Investigator(s) The Regional Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reviews of all cases to ensure quality standards are above the customer standards. The Regional Manager could also be in direct contact with customer and quality assurance to address any needs or changes required of the investigative staff.


  • Coordinates and communicates with the Program Director and Quality Team to ensure any major issues that arise on cases or with investigators are rectified and corrected

  • Assists in confirming assignments made by Case Reviewers have received all necessary scheduling and coverage

  • Answers Case Reviewers questions in a thorough, courteous and prompt mannerAssists in ensuring the all investigative tasks are completed within specifications of the contract

  • Responsible to provide investigative guidance and mentoring on tasks assigned to investigators in assigned region.

  • Responsible for training of new Investigators on standards of coverage and review of investigative tasks

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related experience; 4 years of related experience may substitute

  • Must have an active Secret or Top Secret clearance

  • Must have a minimum of four years responsible background investigations experience

  • Above average computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook

  • U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)
