As a(n) Production Utility Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Working collaboratively with a work center team to meet production goals and objectives.
Maintaining high quality standards as determined through quality specifications.
Ensuring you own safety and the safety of others by following all Safety rules and polices.
Support production processes by replenishing raw materials, and inspecting, packaging, and palletizing of finished goods.
Assist equipment operators, participate in equipment change-overs, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
At least 6 months of Production/Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- 1+ years of Production/Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment is a plus.
Starting pay begins at 85% of the base rate of the position being filled and increases 5% each year of service until reaching 100% of the base rate. Base rates for entry level positions begin at $22.63. Upon hiring you will immediately be eligible to bid on other jobs with base rates ranging from $22.63 to greater than $30 per hour.
The starting “base” rate for this position is $19.06 per hour (85% of full rate). This is a 12-hour shift from 7 pm – 7am with a 2/2/3 work schedule. With the 2/2/3 schedule, you are required to work every other weekend. This is a union facility that is open 24/7, 365 days a year (including Holidays).
