The Opportunity

The Business Continuity Program Manager plays a key role in identifying and assessing risks, guiding implementation strategies to mitigate risks, and coordinating with multiple levels of stakeholders to promote alignment and compliance. This position requires strong communication and project management skills to drive the business continuity program forward across all regions.

What You'll Work On:

  • Ensuring achievement of divisional BCM policy requirements through coaching sessions.

  • Reviewing process and product Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) for divisions, sites, and functions to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies for risk mitigation.

  • Working with Plan Owners to develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive business continuity plans, strategies, and procedures.

  • Reinforcing business continuity exercises, tests, and drills to evaluate and enhance response capabilities.

  • Supporting plan activations in the event of an actual business disruption

  • Reviewing and approving plans while evaluating their effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Utilizing reports, metrics, and dashboards to monitor and report on the resilience within the business continuity program.

  • Improving stakeholder engagement by developing awareness communications & newsletters.

  • Identifying and assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities; documenting risks and monitoring related remediations.

Required Skills and Education:

Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, risk management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience including Business Continuity is required.

  • Ability to refine and implement new and existing plans to handle any disruption globally.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Audits/ regulations – State, federal or any international regulatory industry.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to business, i.e., ISO 22301.

  • CBCP, CBCI, MBCI, MBCP or other BCM certification is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate:

  • Is a team player, is flexible, is coachable, and can work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment.

  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation, and reporting.

  • Has strong organizational skills, time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with manager to prioritize work.

  • Has an intellectual curiosity and is an excellent problem solver and independent thinker with the ability to create innovative solutions.

  • Has the ability to provide timely and accurate customer service.

  • Has a strong desire to stay updated on new trends in the industry.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
