The Opportunity

The Data Analytics Manager will use data and analytics to transform how data are used to identify quantifiable strategies to drive the growth of the Abbott Brand. Areas of focus will include attribution modelling, media mix, A/B testing, social & digital creative effectiveness, campaign measurement and Brand Health tracking & dashboarding. Required skills: Analysis, Consumer Insights, Brand Measurement, Measurement and Attribution, Project Management, Storytelling, Critical Thinking.

This position works out of our headquarters in Abbott Park or our Chicago office (Willis Tower) within the Public Affairs Division.

What You’ll Work On

  • Analyze internal and external data and use analytics techniques to uncover new opportunities to improve Abbott Brand performance, creative effectiveness, A/B testing and audience targeting.

  • Deliver accurate Marketing measurement, including success of campaigns, attribution, and consumer/behavior trends.

  • Create a “single source of truth” dashboard to effectively monitor and act on earned, owned, and paid media, and Brand performance.

  • Predict future Brand health outcomes and measure ROI across priority GMEA initiatives.

  • Act as the GMEA GenAI subject-matter expert in relation to data analytics. Advise GMEA Staff on opportunities for enhanced analytics capabilities and improved Brand measurement.

  • Stay ahead of trends in the field of analytics and data science to inform capability-building and new solutions to drive more value from data.

Required Qualifications

  • A related business, science, math, or similar degree

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related role

  • Experience with marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, and/or statistical analysis.

  • Experience with media mix modeling and A/B testing.

  • Ability to analyze datasets and prioritize them into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to large senior groups.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
