The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the CHR Corporate Human Resources division.
The Manager of Learning & Development will implement the organization's learning and development strategy so that the capabilities of employees meet the organization's current and future needs.
What You’ll Work On
Learning & Development Data Analytics and Metrics Reporting:
Oversight, creation, and enhancements of global training dashboards
Analysis of training metrics data
Maintenance of all metric systems
Quarterly and annual reporting of training metrics and ROI to organization
Data reporting for Abbott’s sustainability metrics reporting and submissions
L&D Vendor Management
Maintain all global contracts
Set standards for contract management as a function
Oversight of coordination and execution of SOW’s for Learning & Development organization
Oversight of PO and SOW tracking and monitoring against spend
Coordination and management of HR compliance processes for all vendors
Coordination and management of AI governance process for L&D vendors as required
Host annual business review cycles with all vendors and facilitators
L&D Budget
In collaboration with Learning & Development Director, set annual plan and update quarterly forecast
Review spend versus plan each month and report to team, update forecast as necessary
Learning & Development Platform Maintenance
Sharepoint administration including Global Training Site, Training Registration Site, team SharePoint site, and customer facing platforms
Process Management & Maintenance
Collaborate with Learning & Development Director to create and execute a governance process and structure for all processes
Manager is the lead for continuous improvement of process mapping including; annual review of processes, governance for changes, maintenance of all process documentation.
Projects
Oversight and project management of shared projects across Learning & Development
Accountability / Scope:
Reports to the Director of Learning & Development
Direct Reports: 1, Indirect Reports: 1
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
5-10 years experience required
Experience in Learning & Development preferred
Strong data analytics and storytelling skills required
Strong Power Bi skills/knowledge required
Knowledge/interest in cloud data source connections preferred
Strong project management skills required
Strong stakeholder management skills required
Strong supplier management skills preferred
Experience in leading and managing others, especially in a matrixed environment
Strong communication skills and ability to influence others

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
