An integral part of the US ARDx Finance team, this position is responsible for leading the strategy and development of sales operations analytics and improvement of finance efficiencies. In addition, this position will lead and coach senior business analysts who will manage sales compensation plans, ad hoc sales reporting and the sales tracings process. The role will span all business units within the US Segment of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics while providing thought leadership related to the broader US ARDx leadership team. The role will provide design and development support for the implementation of compensation plans. The role will have responsibility for data management, process and systems support, PowerBI report management and development, and projects to improve data accuracy, timeliness and overall better customer experience This role will provide finance leadership that ensures data integrity, accurate calculations and robust analysis. The role will also be responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports.
Provide support to sales & marketing leadership as a key liaison for sales performance management Provide support to finance leadership as a key liaison for process improvement and analytics enhancements
Designs compensation programs for over 250+ sales personnel who manage greater than $2B in annual business.
Manages functional aspects of existing data management, analytics and reporting tool, implement enhancements, and maintain related sales tracings & rebates processes to effectively collect, analyze, and report information.
Works closely with the Commercial Leadership and Finance team to provide analytics support.
Develop and coach direct report(s).
In-depth analytical skills and the ability to convey complex concepts

Experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets/programs and use of databases for analyzing financial data
Persistence and a strong task orientation balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills and diplomacy

The ability to work well independently as well as a team member and lead direct reports
Education and Experience:
BS in Finance/Accounting or relevant experience with a bachelors degree
5-7 years experience in a finance analyst role
Strong analytic skills, conceptual thinking, ability to analyze and problem solve with incomplete or ambiguous data
Collaborative problem-solving skills
Demonstrated proficiency managing large modeling efforts involving complex business problems
Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint and Proficient in Access and Word
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Planning, SAP, BW and Power BI, SQL
Experience with SFDC .
