Job Description

The Program Expediter is in daily communication with Materials and Production on part delivery status. This position is responsible for expediting the delivery of purchased parts to the Aberdeen facility based on MRP schedule. Daily phone calls and meetings with suppliers and program. Identifying and analyzing root cause when issues arise.

Reviews/analyzes MRP output reports and on-line screens to determine valid requirements.

Establishes priorities, schedules, coordinates, and monitors the flow of material incoming to meet production commitments.

Contact suppliers via email/phone to expedite parts and returns to support production schedule.

Additional opportunities include:

• Travel to program specific suppliers

• Gain buying experience by owning the relationship with strategic suppliers - OSP material, shipping container mgmt., etc.

• Assistance coordinating the yearly on-site "Supplier Round Table"

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Associates degree in related field or 6 years experience in Supply Chain.

Must have MRP experience.

Microsoft Office proficient.

Ability to multi-task and juggle a variety of demands.

Ability to connect with an array of internal and external customers.

Professional and proficient communicator, both verbal and written.

Highly organized.

Ability to prioritize demands.

Must be a US Person (i.e. a US Permanent Resident, a US Citizen, etc.)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelors Degree in related field and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.

Working knowledge of Oracle or similar MRP system.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $52470 - $89190

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
