The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking aQuality Analystwith credentials as aCertified Welding Inspector(CWI).
As a Quality Analyst: CWI, you will support on the 3rd shift and:
Develop and write inspection plans.
Read and work to blueprints.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
Process non-conformances for disposition.
Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.
Perform welding inspections.
This position supports on the 3rd Shift:
10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
5/40 schedule
Limited overtime as required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 6 years related work experience (i.e. quality, inspection, welding, NDT, etc.), or an Associates Degree and 4 years related work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years related work experience, or the overall equivalent.
Must be a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to read, interpret and work to blueprints.
Working knowledge in GD&T principles and applications.
Ability to read and comprehend raw material specifications.
Must be able to support 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM to 07:00 AM. Overtime as required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
ORACLE MRP system.
TIPQA.
CMM.
Laser Tracker/Faro inspection technology.
DoD heavy manufacturing environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
