Our Diabetes division in Alameda, CA, currently has an opportunity for a Software V&V Test Engineer. #software

What You'll Do

  • Verify Mobile App functionality with a given build on Android and iOS platforms, and Functional test, Regression testing activities.

  • Review System Specifications/Requirements documents, create/update verification test cases (based on those requirements), and execute test cases.

  • Manage and maintain automation test scripts using Appium, Java, and JavaScript.

  • Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality).

  • Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.

  • Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality).

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.

  • 2 years’ experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance including coursework.

  • Must be technically strong and have experience testing mobile applications.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

The base pay for this position is $73,600.00 – $147,200.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
