The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people live with diabetes with our new sensing technology.

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for creating and coordinating the brand programs in the company. Within each program, they map out all the dependent projects and plan and tracks how the program will reach the established goals and objectives.

What You’ll Work On

This role focuses on planning, progress monitoring and shaping brand and marketing programs- providing tools. Needs to bring brand strategy understanding and track record for managing complex organizational marketing projects

Highly visible, with extensive executive interaction, the ideal candidate must possess exceptional organization, presentation, management, and communication skills given the varied nature of the programs and team members involved. While being an expert in all functions is not required, this person will need to demonstrate the confidence, resourcefulness, adaptability, and flexibility to address issues in order to move a program forward

Major responsibilities:

  • Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the organization

  • Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives

  • Coming up with sustainable goals for the organization

  • Working with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs

  • Evaluating and assessing the programs’ strengths and weaknesses

  • Monitoring projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met

  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals

  • Working with the marketing team to improve strategies

Required Qualifications

  • BS or MBA in Business, Organizational Development, General Management, or equivalent

  • 4 + years of project/program management experience

  • Led several x-organization enterprise-wide programs in a hypergrowth environment

  • Strong leader, teammate, and motivator with the ability to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Software delivery or implementation experience with an enterprise products company is a plus

  • Top-tier professional with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong presence and interpersonal skills to interact with team, executives, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.

  • Excellent presentation skills with senior leadership

  • Ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization,

  • Expertise with collaboration tools

  • Acute eye for business and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Experience working with creative and strategic agencies

  • Able to work on multiple strategic assignments at once, in a deadline driven, matrixed environment

  • Highly motivated, self-started, independent, resourceful, proactive

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years’ experience, in project/program management of Marketing programs. Project management certification is a plus.

The salary for this role is between $118,100 – $236,100
