This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.

As a Supply Chain Analyst – IBP , you will be an individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement long-term supply plans to meet business objectives and customer demand.

• Analyze and forecast inventory requirements to ensure optimal stock levels.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to align supply chain strategies.

• Identify opportunities to optimize sourcing strategies and reduce costs.

• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality and reliability.

• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

• Utilize data analytics and supply chain software to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Experience You'll Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 2-5 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area.

• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and inventory management software

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Flexible working hours, supporting weekend tasks when needed.

Preferred:

• Experience in Supply or Demand Planning, Production Planning, Procurement and/or Finance

• Experience working in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical industry

• Strong Financial Acumen a plus

The base pay for this position is $79,500.00 – $138,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
