As an HR Business Partner, you will bring insight, an independent viewpoint, and strategic HR expertise to senior leadership.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position supporting the Americas Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Construction (EPC) organization that crafts and delivers capital growth projects across the Americas. The role works closely with business leadership and other regional HRBPs and specialists within the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and MyHR employee relations team to deliver talent solutions to build the workforce vital to implement the $10B+ portfolio of projects, including several exciting Green and Blue Hydrogen projects. The Sr HR Partner directly supports the GM of the Americas EPC project delivery organization and the regional project delivery functional leaders. The role has one direct report.
The HR Partner provides strategic guidance to drive the development of a comprehensive strategic workforce and talent plan that supports business success, enables consistent high performance and builds a diverse and robust talent pipeline. The role will play a critical role in supporting growth by providing solutions to attract, develop and retain across 4 regional engineering offices (Buffalo, NY; Allentown, PA; Houston, Tx; and Edmonton, AB). Importantly, the role will support and coach leaders in building high performance teams, encouraging a culture of inclusion and belonging, and developing leadership capability.
You will be highly connected and serve as a member of the Americas EPC Leadership team; the Global GEMTE HR team and work with peers in similar roles in India, Asia, Middle East and Europe; and the North America HR team.

Understands the talent market landscape and implications for the workforce; translates this understanding into actionable strategies to attract, develop and retain talent
Partners with managers and centralized recruiting resources to support the strategic talent acquisition process to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline
Leads the Strategic Workforce Planning and Talent Review and Succession Planning process in the business and ensures comprehensive solutions and actionable plans are executed for staffing the organization’s current and future needs.
Aligns with managers in employee development planning to enable progression/bench strength and facilitates identification of high-potential talent, facilitates talent mobility and ensures succession plans for pivotal roles are in place
Champions diversity, inclusion, and belonging and drives our D&I goals and initiatives.
Evaluates and executes priorities in a fast-changing environment using a well-organized and focused approach
Qualifications:
10-15 years of increasing scope and complex responsibilities in HR Partnering
Proven success in effectively partnering with and influencing leaders at all levels, from first time managers to senior leaders
Demonstrated functional competence across multiple areas of HR, including organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, change management, compensation, and strategic workforce planning.
Ability to work flexible hours, and travel 20% of time, to meet the needs of a regional team
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business-focused HR solutions
Excellent communications and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading HR in a project driven organization (i.e., EPC industry)
Experience in an HR center of expertise, e.g., Compensation, Talent Acquisition, OD
Master's Degree in HRM or MBA preferred.
