Role Definition:

Manages and Executes engineering for the design and creation of electrical, communication, switchgear, control panel and automation schematics.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing staffing, development, and performance of a CAD engineering team.

  • Providing specialized engineering support and consulting services to various areas of the organization.

  • Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives; ensuring quality of CAD implementation.

  • Designs, modifies, and implements CAD templates in the execution of project based schematic development.

  • Works with and provides coordination, follow up and tracking of additional remote CAD team when project workload exceeds local team’s capacity.

  • Works with Power System Engineers in implementation of markups, design changes and schematic modifications.

Degree Requirement

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum plus 3-5 years of experience or equivalent experience.
