Fiserv Java Developer in Alpharetta, Georgia
What does a successful Java Developer do at Fiserv?
You'll join our Pay by Bank/TeleCheck engineering group within Fiserv’s Global Business Solutions (Payment Acceptance) business.
You'll support our products and their deployments for use by internal and external customers.
You should have a passion for development and possess deep server-side development skills.
You'll be responsible for ensuring adherence to the developed technology patterns and practices and effect successful integrations with internal Fiserv business units and external customers for the Pay by Bank/TeleCheck solution sets.
What you will do:
Utilize your hands-on experience to develop and support applications at all stages of the SDLC
Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to build and deliver world-class software
Ensure code is well structured, maintainable, in compliance with specifications, and testable while producing quality documentation for the support teams
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions
Support continuous improvement and innovation
What you will need to have:
5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including assigning and executing tasks throughout the entire SDLC
3+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
3+ years of experience developing solutions for distributed systems architecture including microservices with Spring Boot
3+ years of experience with one or more SQL/RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.)
3+ years of experience integrating with 3rd party APIs and tools
What would be great to have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related technical field, or combined equivalent experience
Experience with a cloud platform: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
Experience using ELK stack
