Senior Cloud Engineer

What does a successful Senior Cloud Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will be part of Contact Service Technology team that is responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated Full stack .Net applications and BI solutions in a dynamic purposeful environment. With a background in Azure, Snowflake, .Net and Data related programming you will work directly with business partners, external clients, and other development resources. The environment is .Net Core, ReactJS, Rest APIs, Azure Services, Azure SQL, Snowflake, SSRS, ADF, SSIS, Cognos, Power BI, Python. Integrate various back-end data sources from in-house applications and from third-party tools such as Genesys Infomart, Nice WFM, Nice NPM, Verint Call Recording, Smartguide, Workday. Relationship building is a meaningful aspect of the position.

What you will do:

  • Directly collaborate with Architects, Developers and Test Engineers on multiple Contact Center IVR & Chat data sources using Microsoft related technologies.

  • Collaborate with Customer Care organization as well as the Business units on an enterprise-wide basis to execute on the ongoing strategy to assess design and development of Client Portal, Middleware and BI/Data warehouse.

  • Create world class UI, REST APIs, Data integration and data quality dashboards to support the CCO organization.

  • Undertake conversion projects from in-house applications to cloud native technology applications for Contact Service Technology.

  • You will work with senior management to define and implement technical processes and procedures within department focusing on client happiness and efficiency.

  • Work closely with Product Development and Professional Services developers to resolve complex technical issues aligned to current projects.

  • Lead internal technical development training sessions.

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in client-side web development using JavaScript and JS frameworks.

  • 8+ years of experience in .Net Core, ReactJS, Rest APIs, Azure Services, Azure SQL, SSRS, SSIS, ADF, Cognos, Snowflake, Python, Splunk, Dynatrace and Power BI.

  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft BI Technology and SQL Server, IIS, web development

  • 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, GIT Hub, SonarQube, Harness and Database Tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Strong knowledge of networks including VPN’s, VM servers, firewalls, load-balancing and terminal service.

  • Experience in data models with call center tools such as Genesys Voice Platform, Avaya, Outbound Dialer, Nice WFM, AmplifAI, Verint Call Recording, and Smartguide KMS.

  • Experience with Azure Services and Containerization.
