Job Summary:
As a Wiring Technician, you will wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings.
What you will do:
Wire and route harness's neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards
Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices and enclosures
Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines
Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor and Section Manager
Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual.
What you will have:
High diploma or GED
At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field
Ability to work well in a team environment
Top candidates will have:
- Ability to understand, assemble and/or wire to diagrams / schematics with precise detail
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
Shift
- Monday – Thursday; 5AM – 3:30PM – Additional overtime as needed

Summary Pay Range:
$18.55 - $24.15
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
