Lockheed Martin Program Manager Sr. Staff / Level 5 / Andover, MA in Andover, Massachusetts

Description: The GridStar® Flow Program Area is seeking an experience Program Manager to join our team in Andover, MA. In this position, the candidate will support a major energy storage product development program. The candidate will support the Program Directorate, Chief Engineer, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders in defining the overall program structure; furthermore, planning, monitoring, and controlling the underlying program activities. The candidate will work closely with planners to develop detailed Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and supplemental schedules, support resolution of critical path items, prepare management presentations and program status reports, and lead the risk and opportunity management activities.

Duties will include:

*Working with IPT leaders, functional leaders, and planners to plan, monitor, and control program activities.

*Developing Integrated Master Plan (IMP) documents, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), resource plans, budgets, and work packages.

*Working closely with planners to develop detailed Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and supplemental schedules.

*Resolving pacing/critical path items to maintain schedule performance.

*Facilitating decision-making across Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and functional representatives to maintain technical, schedule, and cost performance.

*Supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders and the Program Business Manager with financial tracking.

*Developing and implementing processes and metrics to status program.

*Developing management communications to status program performance.

*Serving as Risk and Opportunity Manager.

*Identifying sources of program inefficiency and developing processes to reduce waste.

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or science discipline.

*Experience in program/project management for technical product development programs.

*Demonstrated leadership of multifunctional teams, including Engineering & Technology, Program Finance, Planning, Production Operations, Quality, and/or Global Supply Chain.

*A strong record of performance demonstrating program/project execution to performance requirements on schedule and on budget.

*Experience with formal risk and opportunity management.

*Excellent presentation and communication skills; experience with management communication.

Desired Skills:

*Engineering experience in mechanical, electronic, or chemical systems in a systems integration role.

* Technical understanding of energy storage systems.

*Experience developing electrochemical systems such as reversible fuel cells, flow batteries, or electrolysis.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
