Basic Qualifications:

• A driving ambition for and love of AWS coupled with exceptional technical skills for implementing AWS and converting existing technologies to cloud infrastructures.

• Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing to convey pros and cons of various AWS technologies and implementation options, preferably in highly secured environments.

• Understanding of and experience with AWS cost models and knowledge pf how to design effectively for keeping future costs low when scaling needs up.

• Substantial AWS experience, and the AWS Solutions Architect certification (Professional Level), or ability and commitment to obtain within a few months of employment offer.

• Must possess an active security clearance with polygraph

• Twenty (20) years' experience as a software/system/cloud engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and, complexity is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
