Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.
Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs pc workstations, printers, peripherals, and related PC software.
Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks. Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
Provides support for networked PC workstations under guidance of the Systems Administrator for Security compliance.
Coordinates with users, IT staff, and systems administrators.
Provides support to users and troubleshoots/resolves problems.
Is responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of customer satisfaction while adhering to established policies.
Works with engineers to resolve support issues, escalating to proper personnel where appropriate.
Participates in new installations, testing and special projects as needed.
This position may be hired as a Principal or Senior Principal level.
1. Principal: High School diploma or equivalent and4 years additional education and/or related experience.
Senior Principal: High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
2.Current Secret clearance
3. Experience with Classified processing environments and procedures.
4.Experience and knowledge with troubleshooting Windows 10 systems.
5. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
7. DoD 8570 Certification (eg. Security+, CEH, or CISSP).
1. Current TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
2. Certification in related OS (MS Windows 10).
3. CompTIA A+ or Network+.
