Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Capture Professional to expand its portfolio of IT, cyber, and cloud programs across the Intelligence Community (IC). This position will report to the Director of Strategic Capture within the Intelligence Solutions (IS) business area. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading successful captures valued at over $100M across the IC.
The successful candidate should possess robust IC customer experience and a natural ability to leverage this experience in developing credible, strategic, and unique solutions that elevate the Probability of Win (PWIN) and disrupt the competition.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Lead opportunity pursuits from qualification to award, leveraging refined capture processes and offering creative expertise
Shape the RFP prior to release through strategic customer engagement and mission-enhancing solutions
Develop an overall capture plan that includes technical, management, past performance, pricing strategies, and win themes
Provide opportunity gap analysis and identify partners, both internal and external, to successfully close
Responsible for developing Teaming Agreements (TAs) and Statements of Work (SoWs) that meet customer requirements and enhance BAE Systems' PWIN
Develop associated briefing materials and present at gate reviews to the BAE Systems senior leadership team
Lead storyboard and win theme development activities
Actively participate in solution development, possessing the ability to present details on behalf of any element of the opportunity to customers or leadership
Actively engage the team to locate discriminators and ghosting opportunities in Black Hat and competitive analysis discussions
Provide leadership and oversight during the proposal development phase
Lead post-color team recovery efforts and strategy discussions
Develop and maintain key customer relationships across the IC
Identify common themes across various customer sets to drive long-term strategy
Identify opportunities for efficiencies, including automated processes, tools, and data reuse across corporate capability offerings
Interact with all levels of the organization to stay current on BAE Systems' capabilities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of twelve years of directly comparable experience, including at least eight years leading IC captures
Maryland Procurement (MPO) experience
Existing IC customer and industry relationships in the fields of IT, cyber, and cloud
Proven ability to lead captures valued at over $100M
Experience with various capture contract types and pricing strategies, including competition, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), performance-based, Cost Plus (CP), and Time & Materials (T&M)
Experience with Shipley or other capture methodologies, leading teams through complex captures with in-depth stakeholder reviews
Demonstrated success in deriving strategic solutions and win themes against vaguely defined requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple captures simultaneously at various stages of the opportunity lifecycle
Demonstrated achievement in leading diverse, complex teams internally and externally to increase PWIN and achieve successful outcomes
Aptitude for high performance in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal or no supervision
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Flexibility to work and lead teams remotely, in-office, or in a classified environment, depending on opportunity requirements and business needs
Current National Security Agency (NSA) clearance - active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Polygraph
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience leading and winning captures valued at $500M or greater
Technical acumen, particularly in IT, cyber, and cloud
Previous experience working as a program manager or senior direct contributor for an IC customer
Active polygraph
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $155605 - $264493
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
