Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Thought Leader Liaison – Product Manager, Cardiovascular which is a field-based US national marketing role reporting into the Group Product Director, Strategic Engagements. The preference is for the candidate to reside in the United States with easy access to a national airport.

Key Responsibilities:

The Thought Leader Liaison - Product Manager, Cardiovascular will be responsible for leading strategic partnerships directly with key customers in the externally-facing channel of Professional Education

  • Developing and deploying engagement strategy for Health Care Professional (HCP) Key Opinion Leaders (KOLS) and Organizations to uncover key insights and deliver effective professional education

  • Leading the conference, booth, promotional assets, and education and engagement strategy and execution for key national/regional conventions and sponsorships

  • Managing the strategy, content, and KOL faculty preparation for select peer-to-peer programming channels (e.g. National Broadcasts, Product Theaters)

  • Gathering and applying data-driven insights with key business objectives and innovative thinking to shape and deliver new opportunities for professional education and engagement

  • The position requires close collaboration with home office marketing, regional sales, medical affairs, and advocacy and strict adherence to the HCC, legal, and regulatory guidelines for promotional activities

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD or other related graduate degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 4 years of related industry experience in marketing, medical, key account management, or sales, particularly engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and professional healthcare organizations

  • Demonstrated track record of success building strong customer relationships with a consultative approach

  • Analytical and strategic thinking and decision-making skills that translate into tactical execution to deliver on business objectives

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills to provide clarity in complex situations

  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a dynamic environment with prioritization, a sense of urgency and detail orientation

  • Proven success in leading teams, collaborating, and influencing without authority

  • A valid driver’s license issued in the US is required

Preferred:

  • Experience in a home-office role including experience with copy approval committee (CAC) process

  • Experience in cardiovascular

Other:

  • Travel up to 50% of the time (including weekends) for congresses, educational events, and internal meetings within the US

  • Candidate should reside within a reasonable distance to a major airport.

The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
