BAE Systems Manufacturing Operations Trainer in Anniston, Alabama
Job Description

Our Combat Mission Systems business in Anniston, AL is currently hiring for an Manufacturing Operations Trainer that will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluation training programs across the entire manufacturing production process (Fabrication, Assembly and Vehicle Test).
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Develops and conducts training in the areas of Fabrication, Assembly, and Vehicle Test.
Trains and certifies employees to weld in accordance with Combat Vehicle Weld Code/Specification.
Performs routine competency assessments and provides remedial training as required.
Performs new hire and refresher classroom trainings for varying group sizes.
Conducts retraining and corrective training.
Performs On-The-Job-Trainings in a live and/or simulated environment.
Manages employee training records in a Learning Management System.
Supports the Business Unit to maintain performance and knowledge skills.
Ongoing coordination with internal subject matter experts to schedule and deliver training classes.
Collaborates across production sites to ensure consistent training content and processes.
Lead and/or participate in special projects in support of business needs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s Degree (Engineering or Technical discipline) or Equivalent Experience
Experience preparing and conducting training courses (Classroom and Hands-On).
Welding experience
Experience interpreting weld symbols and weld procedures
Mechanical background, including safe operation of hand and power tools.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with military vehicles
Lean manufacturing experience
AWS Certified Weld Inspector or ability to acquire certification
Electrical Integration and Test Experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
