Thrivent Financial Document Distribution Representative in Appleton, Wisconsin

The Document Distribution Associate supports our client documents and provides a consistent, high-quality service experience. Thrivent receives client documents in paper and in electronic form from our members, field partners, and internal operating units.

Service includes high level prioritization of documents necessary to scan and index for electronic capture allowing for automated distribution to the appropriate business areas within established service level agreements. Additionally, this position has final accountability for the classifying for front and back-end imaged documents that require verification and/or exception error process handling.

**This position will work onsite in our Appleton Meade Operations location.


  • Process electronic and/or physical client documents by form analysis and prepare for appropriate business areas.

  • Document, integrate, scan and index using multiple indexing applications.

  • Review and research documents that require additional client and form identification.

  • Requires a good understanding of client forms and product offerings for each business function.

  • Quickly recognizes forms (2,900+) and leverages the forms listing tool to identify and determine the distribution rules, and business area.

  • Support the on-site physical processes.

Examples include:

  • Support maintenance of the equipment

  • Pull and send original scanned documents when original ink documents are required.

  • Box and label scanned materials for storage retention allowing for ease of pull and destruction.

Partners with others on the team to establish service and quality standards and identifies trends for process improvements.

Meet department standards for quality, quantity, and turn-around standards within service level agreements.

  • High School Diploma

  • Zero to one years related experience

  • Excellent keyboarding and computer skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Commitment to working flexible hours

  • Good organization and time management skills

  • Solid communication skills

  • Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds

  • Aspects of this position may require work to be done in person and on site.


  • Previous document distribution services: using indexing applications is helpful.
