Description:

Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. It produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. The site is renowned for its awards and contributions to missile systems, nuclear instrumentation, and control products.

What You Will Be Doing

• Direct work assignments of subordinate employees within a work cell

• Conduct specific on-the-job training of new and existing employees

• Ensures high quality product, meeting daily production demands, monitoring the performance of the assembly team

• Successfully manufacture Product in assigned assembly cell

• Receives departmental assignments through verbal direction from supervisor and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Ability to perform all of the duties of the assemblers in assigned work cell

• Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies

• Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met

• Work to ESD Requirements

• Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to perform all jobs within work area

• Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities

• Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements

• Utilize SAP as related to production and movement of parts and assemblies

• Assist in the training of employees as assigned

• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related electro-mechanical assembly experience

• Ability to make stencils for marking operations and properly apply required marking to printed wire boards and assemblies

• The ability to interpret electro/mechanical assembly drawings and follow work instructions

• Ability to become certified in all necessary IPC J-STD modules

• Ability to become certified to required skills or processes

• Ability to use detailed measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges etc.

• Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required

• The ability to work to written work instructions

• Experience using a variety hand tools and measuring devices

• Achieve the defined quality and HPU standards for assigned work

• The ability to obtain a security clearance

• Basic computer skills

• Must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills:

• Previous leadership experience

• Previous experience training others and validating performance

• OJT certification in all work cell tasks

• Previous experience on cable and harness manufacturing

• Previous certification in industry standards

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
