The Hershey Company Manager, Field Operations in Arkansas

Job Location: Bentonville, AR * Summary:* This position has responsibility for being the liaison between the Walmart Sales Team and Retail Team by providing feedback and opportunities. Responsibilities include seeking to understand the operational environment at Walmart Headquarters, enabling the retail team to effectively execute/sell corporate programs sold by the Walmart Sales Team. In addition, plans, develops, and communicates specific initiatives resulting in sales increases for Hershey and Walmart. * Responsibilities:* Develop internal and external operational contacts for the Walmart Team Consult with cross functional business partners (externally and internally) to identify opportunity gaps and present business solutions to maximize Hershey’s retail coverage and increase sales. Facilitate communications and direction to the Retail Team by partnering with Area Sales Directors, Regional Sales Leaders, Territory Sales Lead Advocates, cross functional business partners, and the Hershey Walmart Sales Team. Participate in Walmart Business Planning Sessions. * Additional Responsibilities:* Project Management: Examples include Quarterly Retail Survey Creation/Facilitation, March Madness, YBM, Holiday Show, Special Project Rollouts Retail Selling Materials/Support: Creating Weekly Update Email Materials, Cycle Materials (everyday & seasonal), RVP and Market Manager Decks Retail Field Responsibilities: Field Days, REMs, RLU, Region Reviews, Retail Leadership Forum, Market Tours, etc. Performance Tracking: Fixture Compliance, Survey/Program Recaps, Merch Ticket Requests, Retail Audit/Survey Developing/Creating Tools and Resources: WIN, Tableau, Reporting Dashboards, Contests, Retail Crossmark Partnership (internal collaboration) – responsible for creating Crossmark Retail Priorities, department initiatives, and tests * Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor’s Degree required Experience: Extensive knowledge of the confectionery market and all classes of trade. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential. Successfully demonstrated sales management experiences and understanding of the tenets of Category and Strategic Insights and the business planning process. 7-9 years of analytical and/or sales experience required in order to effectively communicate with Walmart and the field. #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
