Lockheed Martin Contracts Management Staff / Lvl 4 / Arlington, TX in Arlington, Texas

This mid-career Contracts role will support various activities for the PAC-3 contracts organization within the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Business Area. The selected candidate will be an individual contributor but must be able to succeed with minimal supervision and direction. The work location for this position is our MFC facility in Arlington, TX.

The individual will facilitate, and support PAC-3 program pursuits, contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. The desired candidate will provide contract administration support by reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering IWTAs and requests for proposals/ROMs.

Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work with stakeholders across multiple Business Areas. Plays a key role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin by implementing business strategies for capturing new and follow-on business. Have strong FMS and DCS Contracting Experience. Encompass ability to engage in routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and/or cost type (CPFF, CPIF) contracts

Sound working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other government acquisition regulations

Occasional travel is required.

Must have excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Should be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment

Proven ability to manage routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts

The qualified individual must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen

• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures

• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin's business systems

• Contract drafting experience and experience with various contract types and contracting vehicles

• This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, provide RFP shaping/analysis and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy

• Familiarity with International Terms and Conditions and Agreements

• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

• Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including contract administration, proposal preparation and close-out

• Candidate should be a proactive self-starter who is detail and teamwork oriented

•Capable of working independently with general supervision

• Prior experience with ACC-Redstone (Shield) and/or PAC-3 experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
