Description:
Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE), resident in Dallas, Tx. and will be supporting the THAAD Post Production Program for interceptor hardware.
It requires working across two Lockheed Martin (LM) Business Areas (Space Systems and Missiles & Fire Control), and independently leading an effort to drive change and gain visibility for Ground Post Production Quality effort through managing Corrective Action Board.
Travel and Quality assessment of fielded hardware (Fort Bliss, Fort Hood, etc.) and assessment of Quality practices and procedures within scope. Driving to standardize practices in the Post Production system (SAP-MRO) ensuring consistency and integrity along with physically receiving fielded HW returns and ensuring appropriate dispositions and technical justification for each unit.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
•Manage and present Corrective Action Board to Sr Management
•Conduct data analytics to identify trends and drive positive change on program health metrics
•Supports Supplier IPT’s and various production sites with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.
•Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex.
•Attends and leads program corrective action meeting, identifies trends, assists in problem resolution and ensures responsible parties meet commitments.
•Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
•Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001 / AS9100.
•Evaluate the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues.
•Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
•Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM Degree at the bachelors level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education
Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related performance metrics
Strong knowledge of industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO) and/or Aerospace (AS)
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills: written, oral and listening
Ability to travel for two weeks at the time domestically or internationally, when required
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of SAP
Understanding of Root Cause Corrective action tools
Knowledge of Tableau and data analytics skills
Ability to travel overseas for 2 -3 weeks when needed
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
