Hilton Complex Director of Food and Beverage - DoubleTree Crystal City and Embassy Suites Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia

Due to an internal promotion, the Doubletree Crystal City and Embassy Suites Crystal City are looking for a Complex Director of Food & Beverage to oversee both properties!

Boasting 627 elegant guest rooms, 31,000 square feet of meeting space and 5 outlets. the Doubletree Crystal City will be home base for this exciting Director of F&B role in the DC Metro area. This position will also oversee the F&B operations at the Embassy Suites Crystal City and guide this operation to success. With 269 guest rooms, 19,000 square feet of meeting space and 2 outlets (a beautiful recently renovated restaurant, Tap Twelve), this property will be an exciting challenge.

The ideal candidate will be a hands on leader who is able to tackle multiple projects, has a talent for training and developing others and is exceptional in regards to building teams, maintaining relationships and financial expertise. At least 2-3 years experience an Assistant Director or Director of F&B is preferred. Union management experience is a plus.

What will I be doing?

As a Director of Food and Beverage, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
