We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Logistics Operations Manager (2nd Shift) in Arvin, CA.

The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. Job Summary:

• The Logistics Operations Manager (2nd Shift) develops, oversees, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the transportation network necessary to provide end-to-end supply chains.

Additional Info :

• This role is located in Arvin, CA and does not offer relocation

• This role is 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm

• This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

• This role requires up to 10% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for training, developing, and mentoring, all personnel issues and performance evaluation.

• Build and maintain dealer relationships

• Responsible for input to the facility business plans including preparation of manpower, capital, and expense budgets.

• Monitoring and managing key performance criteria.

• Developing medium term strategic plans and direction.

• Responsible for safety/environmental compliance.

• Demonstrate strong safety focus

• Must be able to help analyze inventory and implement best practices

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):

• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following: parts distribution operations, safety, and quality functions

• 3+ years progressively responsible job-related experience

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience

• Bachelor's degree

• The ability to work independently with minimal direction, be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative.

• Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.

• EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) experience

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
