An Events Coordinator provides the director and managers of the events department with administrative and clerical support in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

Providing the director and managers of events department with administrative and clerical support in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific tasks required of this position incldue:

  • Word-processing: typing, e-mail correspondence, data-entry, taking notes and/or dictation
  • Copying and faxing documents, processing mail, performing other general office tasks as required
  • Answering telephones and transferring calls as needed
  • File creation, organization and management
  • Handling/executing amenity requests and processing of transfer requests
  • Distribution of Banquet Event Orders
  • Special projects as needed.
