Job Description

The Sr. Specialist – IAM Healthcare Systems (HCS) Integrated Business Planner within the Contacting Capability Evolution (CCE) team will be a critical team member responsible for supporting the Integrated Account Management (IAM) HCS Leadership team as it relates to contract pull-through, proactive insights, and customer performance analytic services for our Company’s portfolio of key products.

Reporting to the IAM CCE HCS Planning Lead, the IAM HCS Integrated Business Planner will be responsible for centralized business planning in support of the Integrated Account Management (IAM) Healthcare System (HCS) organization in a regional or national capacity. The incumbent will provide the planning support for sales leadership to help achieve business, customer, and people goals. The HCS Account Planner executes the decision analysis & strategic planning support within the purview of the leaders to facilitate resource optimization and trade-off decisions across all customers and customer segments. In the national capacity, the HCS Account Planner will support end-to-end pull through to align around contract opportunities. The incumbent will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and manage the complexity across headquarter functions to facilitate a seamless operational experience for field sales business partners, including collaboration across segment and payer brand leads to inform strategy and monitor execution.

Under the leadership of the IAM CCE HCS Planning Lead, the incumbent will participate in the department’s evolution to align with US Market and brand priorities. This includes an acceleration of planning / analytic capabilities anchored in advanced analytics and optimized standard reporting via appropriate implementation of tools, techniques, and approaches. The HCS Integrated Business Planner will demonstrate close collaboration with other planners, analysts, and dashboard specialists to ensure an integrated approach across the CCE team.

Key responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

  • Supporting HCS leadership (Director and above) in identifying opportunities to improve/maintain market access and engagement.

  • Providing business trends and advanced insights relating to account management and region priorities.

  • Providing ad hoc analytic services supporting account management priorities.

  • Account Executive data investigation triage relating to data within the CCE suite of capabilities available to the HCS organization.

  • Standardized HCS reporting, analytics, and business review summary support.

Reporting to the HCS Account Planning Lead, the Senior Specialist role will be the lead point-of-contact for analytics services relating to customer performance and contract pull-through using existing capabilities and innovative artificial intelligence technologies.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years field sales or HQ experience.

  • Strong business acumen, project management and teamwork skills required.

  • Experience and knowledge in one or more Managed Markets segments: Hospital/Federal, IDN, Payer, Sub-Acute, GPO, Pharmacy & Distribution, Employer.

  • Working knowledge of Managed Markets syndicated data sources.

  • Experience in a planning, analytics, market access, or data role.

  • Well-developed pro-active analytical skills, strong problem-solving and demonstrated ability to think strategically and objectively.

  • Proficiency in analytical and AI tool development.

  • Strong experience working with data, data integrations, or data curation.

  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and a strong desire to lead change in terms of developing best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Strong continuous improvement, focus, and mindset.

  • High School Diploma.

  • Travel the amount of time the role requires - at least 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+years of Managed Market experience desired.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the US Healthcare environment.

  • Experience with MicroStrategy

  • Creative and Strategic Thinking.
